I am so excited to begin this journey for myself and with all of you.  A bit about me… I started crafting quite seriously last year. I made greeting cards. I put a lot of time and effort into my craft. I even went to local craft shows as a vendor I do admit, it gave me so much joy and happiness until one day it didn’t. Suddenly I lost touch with my passion and what used to make my heart happy. I stepped back and had a deep conversation with myself and decided it was time to believe in myself and find my passion again.
Rewind further… I have had many struggles with my health since I was 13 years old. Only a few years ago or more. So recently I was advised by one of my specialists to begin a Wellness Journal.  To keep track of my health in between our appointments. I started writing about my health daily PLUS I write a few other odds and ends about my life. I make notes about my mental health and monitor my ups and downs. Since I started doing this my mind feels more relaxed and I’m glad that I am more organized for all of my upcoming appointments this year. Taking 5 minutes a day to think about me in my busy day gives me such self love and peace.
Journaling is the simplest yet most powerful forms of self-care.  In a world that constantly asks for your attention, journaling gives it back to you because in today’s world taking care of your emotional wellbeing by putting pen to paper and taking a deep breath.  It’s just that simple.
Crafting is my meditation and journaling is my medicine.

Happy Sunday Friends

Sunday is my favourite day of the week. It's the day we take a few minutes to unwind from our busy week that has come and gone AND it's a day for us to reset and organize for the week to come. I have turned into a home body more as I age and my health has not been kind to me and my friend group has depleted to very few. These friends are my people. A quiet day at home with my guys in my comfortable clothes and a quick text from my people is my idea of peace. However,  I will ALWAYS find time for my journaling. Today it's about me. Grateful and blessed. One Page at a Time,
